Norma Gnarly is retired space commander turned defender of the cosmos, Cosmic Granny.
When our story begins, Norma is having a pleasant day at home preparing for a fun weekend with her grandchildren Ashton and Ashley, aka the Astrokids.
The day took a drastic turn when Cosmic Granny arrived to pick up the twins from school and discovers they are missing. Cosmic Granny soon learns, her former BFF turned archenemy Meteor Molly has an evil plan to ruin her life and take everything from her including the Astrokids!
It's now up to Cosmic Granny to find the Astrokids, save them and put an end to Meteor Molly’s evil plan before it’s too late.
The Author
Ed Rice is a seasoned educator and journalist. With more than 20 years of experience, his work has been featured in the Orange County Register, The Source and Vibe Magazines. From 2013-2015 he served as a Contributing Editor for the Los Angeles Sentinel newspaper.
As an educator, Ed has taught at the elementary and secondary levels. Additionally, he’s served as a faculty member with Los Angeles City College and currently holds faculty positions at the CSU system wide program, CalStateTEACH and Moreno Valley College, where he is the Associate Professor, Journalism.
In his spare time Ed he enjoys working out and spending time with his 17-year-old daughter, Amaya.
